Authentic vintage Coach Basic Bag, style no. 7924 (creed stamped No. 516-7924), handcrafted in New York City, U.S.A. from natural glove-tanned full-grain leather. This classic NYC-era Coach silhouette features a slim rectangular body, top zip closure, solid brass hardware, and a fixed leather shoulder strap designed for shoulder wear only (not crossbody).
This bag includes a glue-in registration number, which was used on early Coach bags prior to the later serial number/date code system. The rich burgundy/oxblood leather has developed a beautiful vintage patina that Coach is known for from this era. Interior is unlined leather with creed patch.
Condition:
Good vintage condition. Leather shows light surface wear with some marks and stain on the exterior. Interior is clean. Zipper and hardware function properly. Strap is intact and wearable.
