This is a 30s-40s French vintage hunting vest made of thick-wale brown corduroy.

Unlike the more common French corduroy vests, this is a rare hunting type with animal buttons.
It's a thick-wale corduroy vest, making it a truly vintage piece.

■Condition

Slight fading overall.
Torn lining, frayed pocket on the outer fabric, and other minor scuffs in various places.

The black painted needle-pin cinch back is in good condition.
All six animal buttons are present.
The hand-stitched buttonholes are a very nice detail.
The V-zone is narrow, giving it a classic look.

Although there is some damage to the body, there is no damage that would hinder wear, and the condition allows for a great vintage feel.
