Description
A very attractive antique hand-painted Nippon porcelain handled bowl, with the Morimura Brothers mark that was used in 1910-1911.
The bowl has a pleasing, balanced form with gently sloped sides and applied handles, making it both decorative and practical as a display piece. The underside bears the green wreath Hand Painted Nippon mark, confirming authentic Nippon export porcelain.
This is a larger, more visually impactful example than the small floral Nippon pieces commonly seen, and the scenic motif gives it strong shelf and display appeal.
