This is a Black Indigo Stripe Guernsey Sweater from the popular brand RRL (Double RL).

This sweater was released from the "U.S.S NAUTILUS" collection of the time, and is a sweater made of thick, low-gauge knitted cotton. It's a unique and exceptional piece with marine stripes that reach the chest, and special knitting on the shoulders and hem, familiar from Guernsey sweaters. The black indigo dye and elaborate construction are truly impressive. Made of cotton knit, it doesn't feel scratchy, and can be worn in a wide range of seasons, from autumn and winter to spring and early summer, such as with shorts. The beauty of the silhouette, which allows for a clean look while maintaining a classic atmosphere, is also attractive. The sleeve length and length are not too long, resulting in a well-balanced silhouette. For reference, I am 170cm tall and weigh 57kg, and this sweater fits me perfectly.

I purchased this new at the Ralph Lauren store in Hankyu Umeda Men's Building over 10 years ago, but I haven't worn it much because I took such good care of it.
