This is a rayon shirt from around the 1950s.
I feel that California-style tags often feature rayon.
Please take a look at the weave in the photos. It's a twill weave.
It's gabardine. The collar has a collar stay, and the tip is folded.
It has the unique drape and the soft, flowing feel of rayon, which is irresistible.
There are some pills, loose threads, and stains in places.
The largest flaw is on the back, at the top, where there is a black mark under the collar. Please check the photos.
The color is close to wine red.
I'm selling it to clear out my closet.
