[Unused] UK GS WINDPROOF SMOCK JACKET

I purchased this at a military shop, but I never wore it.
I removed the tags when I bought it, I apologize.

GS stands for "GENERAL SERVICE" and this is an official jacket issued in the 90s to public institutions such as the British police.

This item is originally a type that is not often available as deadstock, and it's a jacket that is rarely seen even in Japan. Olive and camouflage patterns of the same type exist, but the Black color is rare.
The design is similar to the SAS (British Army Special Forces) combat smock.

It has four large pockets on the front.
The lower front pockets have slash pockets on the sides for easy access.
The slash pockets and the zip pockets on both sides of the hem are fleece-lined, and the details are very well made.
There are Velcro panels on both arms for patches. It has characteristically British slanted pockets with parachute button closures.
The front zip is a double zip with Velcro closure.
The hood has a drawstring neck, and the brim of the hood has wire in it, allowing you to change the shape of the hood.
There are zippers on the sides.

The shell is 50% polyester and 50% cotton, which makes it windproof.
You can wear thick knitwear, jackets, or inner down layers underneath.

It can be used as rainwear and is versatile for both town use and outdoor activities.
