This is Kai, a doll from the Reflection of Childhood series of Puppen Kinder (child dolls) by German doll artist Anette Himstedt. He is an Asia/Pacific Islander boy. This doll was only produced for one year, from 1989-90. He is made of vinyl.
He has dark brown hair and features characteristic of people from the Asia-Pacific Islands, such as his nose, eyes, and mouth. He is approximately 65cm tall. He has a piercing in his right ear.
He was originally displayed with other Anette dolls in a display case. While there are no noticeable scratches or stains, he is listed as having some minor wear and tear due to age.
This is from my aunt's doll collection.
