Excellent condition vintage mohair knit from the 50s-60s

Purchased from a vintage shop in Tokyo.
Made in UK (likely brought from the UK).

This product is from the late 1960s, before mandatory labeling in the UK. (Possibly handmade by artisans at the time, so no tag?)
The condition is quite good.
No shedding, discoloration, stains, or damage.

The color is a brighter, more vivid shade than royal blue, a deep cyan blue that was groundbreaking for industrial chemical dyes at the time.

Vintage mohair is experiencing a resurgence in popularity and is scarce in overseas markets. This mid-century icon color is genderless and ageless.

Excellent condition, no shape distortion.
No stretching, deterioration, or damage; it hasn't been worn much. I've only worn it 2-3 times. Needless to say, it's very warm.
Stored after light wiping, sanitizing, and air drying.

No stains or spots; it hasn't been dry cleaned. Similar items in Tokyo sell for ¥40,000 or more.

While the color is feminine, the shape is masculine.
It has a drop shoulder, but the shoulder construction gives it a masculine feel. It looks masculine when worn fitted, and genderless when worn oversized.

It's incredibly warm but not too thick, so it can be worn for many seasons.
When a woman tried it on, the unintentional oversized look was sophisticated and very cute, so it would be great to share with your girlfriend or give as a gift to a special woman.
