This is a rare, almost limited-edition model from RRL, only released for a short period.
On January 21st, a different size sold for over 38,000 yen, and similar prices have been seen in the past. Rigid denim with minimal fading commands a high price.

The early models, with their superior construction and materials, are likely over 10 years old. A limited re-release was recently available but quickly sold out.
This item is an early model, with better construction than current offerings.
It features meticulous details not typically found in jeans, such as the lower part of the belt loops being folded under the waistband like high-end trousers, and triangular stitching at all pocket corners. The fabric is also exceptional.

While a bootcut, the design is more of a slim fit, with a narrower knee, creating a clean line to the shoe without bunching. This shape is ideal for boots.
Furthermore, a key feature of this item is that, due to RRL's commitment to detail, it's designed to allow for selvedge edges, which is not usually possible with standard bootcut jeans.

RRL's most elaborate medallion stitching on the back and front pockets is a signature of the Slim Bootcut.

The fabric has a crisp feel with minimal fuzz, and even after softening, it retains the appearance of the rigid denim. This is likely due to the white weft threads showing through.
Unlike the recent fabrics with exaggerated vertical fading and a bumpy slub texture, this fabric is flat yet allows for authentic vertical fading.
It offers a genuine vintage look with a greenish, deep color fade and fine vertical fading. This is a characteristic of the denim from that era, which is no longer produced.
