TCB has released the new TCB Waist Overall and Pleated Blouse, now available on the Online Store.
In creating these products, we first researched fabrics from the 1880s.
To reproduce the color fading of fabric dyed with natural indigo before the adoption of synthetic indigo, we used rope dyeing with natural indigo to create yarns with a white core, instead of skein dyeing.
We also focused on the sewing process, which we value. We used single-needle sewing machines and followed the manufacturing methods of the time, with raw edges on the pants and felled seams on the blouse.
We hope you enjoy the craftsmanship of these items, which were made before mass production.
