Never even been read through! I received it as a gift when I was a 10 yr old kid I'm now 48 years old. I never once read through it. For some reason I knew it would be valuable and I immediately put it in a plastic bag and tucked it away for safekeeping. It's been in a safe for 20 plus years.

The cover is the classic black-and-white illustration by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, featuring the four turtles in action poses battling a large wolf-like creature (often described as a snarling wolf or beast), with intense shading, weapons drawn, and the red border framing the title "EASTMAN and LAIRD'S TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES". It's the same iconic cover design as the original 1984 first printing, but this reprint has the "FIFTH PRINT" markings on the back/red bag or interior indicia, along with the $1.50 cover price (and $2.25 Canada variant noted).
