This is a Steiff Tom Cat.
A vintage item from Steiff, made between 1950 and 1966, and is the smallest size in the series.
This listing is for one cat only, and includes the chest tag (paper tag on the chest).
The cat without the chest tag in the last photo is for comparison only.

The body is velvet / eyes are glass or plastic / mouth is stitched / whiskers are made of fishing line, with 4 on each side and 2 on each eyebrow.
The neck does not move.
No button tag.
The ribbon is original and has some fraying, but is mostly intact from the time it was made.
The mohair at the tip of the tail is slightly thin, but because the base fabric is dyed brown (the other listing has a black base fabric), it appears more noticeable.
However, please consider that this item is over 60 years old.
