"HAENGNAE" is a fashion brand by anna choi, a designer of Korean nationality born in 1992 and raised in Japan.
She studied fashion design in New York and Japan. After winning the Kobe Fashion Contest Special Selection in 2017 while attending Bunka Fashion College, she studied abroad at Nottingham Trent University in England as a special scholarship student.
After graduation, her haute couture collection presented at Graduate Fashion Week (GFW) attracted attention, and she received multiple offers from maisons. However, she decided to launch her own brand and returned to Japan.
The brand started with the 2021AW collection.
