This jacket is based on the final issue model of the US military's cold-weather flight jacket, developed in the 1980s.
It features a wide body and a short length.
The fabric is a twill made from a combination of nylon and Suvin cotton, which has a matte appearance but a smooth, silky feel.
The inner lining uses TORAY's ultra-fine fibers, which have low thermal conductivity.
It retains heat well, and offers twice the warmth of down when compared in the same layer.
