Purchased from an antique jewelry shop in France. These are dormeuse earrings, a type that fastens from the back.
They are faceted jet earrings. They have a beautiful luster and reflect light.
Black earrings are versatile and can be worn with any outfit, making them very useful.
Metal: 18k (stamped with an eagle head hallmark + workshop mark)
Era: Circa 1900
