Handmade Fair Isle vest made in Scotland.
I purchased it about 25 years ago at a store.
Unusually for a Fair Isle vest, it has a shell button closure and a longer front, like a waistcoat.
The slightly uneven spacing of the buttons is also a characteristic of hand-frame knitting.
Because it's a bit short in length, it can be worn in a sporty style.
