I purchased the fabric in 2025, inspired by the image of live performance outfits for my favorite idol, and had it made into a kimono, which I wore twice. As it was winter, I wore a turtleneck shirt and leggings for warmth, so the kimono did not directly touch my skin. The colors in pictures 1 and 2 are the closest to the actual garment.
This is a casual kimono. It's made from "Ise cotton," a traditional fabric with a history of over 250 years, dating back to the Edo period. Ise cotton has the characteristic of becoming softer with each wash as the threads revert to cotton. It has a gentle, simple texture and is very comfortable to wear. Depending on the inner layers, you can wear it for a long time, from winter to spring, early summer, and autumn, excluding midsummer.
