Adidas EDMONTON 1978 Leather Sneakers

This is likely a shoe used in the weightlifting competition at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, Canada.

The upper is leather, but the sole is a firm urethane that feels cushioned, like those used in indoor sports.
The seller has used them without difficulty outdoors.

The size is UK8, which should fit someone who usually wears around 26.5cm.

Maximum width: 9.5cm

The upper has cracks around the opening, but the overall silhouette is still beautiful enough to compensate for them.

Although this tournament is not well-known in Japan, it seems to be held every four years.
