I believe these were made in 1989.
The leather quality and comfort are in a different league compared to current models.
They feature exquisite calfskin, which is now difficult to obtain. The fine grain allows for a beautiful shine with just a light brushing.
The shoe last is a Barry last, but the footbed has more contour than current models, providing a superior fit.
You can tell these were made with meticulous care, without cutting any corners.
The marks on the soles are from something written with a marker, which has been wiped off with alcohol.
These shoes have been worn sparingly, and while there are some minor blemishes on the uppers, they are generally in excellent condition without any scratches or cracks.
The shoelaces have been replaced with new ones.
