This is a new, one-wash item purchased at Kobe UNION.

As announced by the official Denime, the production of the 15.5 oz denim used as the basic line for DENIME will end due to the closure of the Kurabo Anjo factory (end of June 2025). The denim from DENIME's basic series, which reproduces the founding year of 1988, will end with the current thread and denim stock.

Product Description:
While aiming to reproduce the denim from the founding of DENIME in 1988, we will update it with the technical capabilities cultivated by Warehouse.

Denim:
Thoroughly reproduces the fabric DENIME produced at the time of its founding.
The fabric was realized through joint development with Kurabo, based on the recipe of the time. By using ring-spun uneven yarn made from the same American cotton as then, rope dyeing it with a special color, and applying plant dyeing for finishing, we have reproduced the deep, DENIME-like color. In addition, in the refining process before rope dyeing, we use the unique room temperature water of Warehouse, resulting in warp threads with strong contrast, where the dyed areas are dark and the core remains white. Because we use the GL3 loom, known as an old-style power loom, the characteristics of the uneven yarn are directly reflected in the denim.

Silhouette:
The silhouette is a 1960s BIG E MODEL, which tapers beautifully towards the hem. It has a clean, medium to slightly slim silhouette.
