This album was recorded in Rome, Italy in 1968.
Farmer and Woods, while staying in Europe, engaged in a supremely enjoyable session with Martial Solal (p).
The final track, "sunrise sunset," is outstanding and fitting for the finale.
The recording is also superb, and highly recommended.
A masterpiece of Italian jazz with a touch of melancholy.
It seems that obtaining an original pressing is extremely difficult nowadays.
An extremely beautiful disc!!
