86's early 501 pre-dyed black denim W32 USA made Levi's vintage 80s

1986 Levi's 501 black, made in the USA.

This is an early example of the 501-0658 pre-dyed black denim made in the USA. It features a paper care label, a small single-color print tag on white non-woven fabric (similar to the 66 and red-line models), made in the 653 factory, and black thread lock stitching, all characteristics of early 1980s models. After the 653 factory, the lock stitching changed to brown/gold and then white thread. This is a special 501 black denim with a collection of rare details.

The button back number is 653, which is said to be the successor to the 16 button factory, Baldwyn. The 16 button factory is known for its popularity in vintage 501XX and Big E jeans. These black denim pants have rare details. Marked W32(33), actual size is around W31-32, a very good golden size. Like the 66 and red-line models, 80s pre-dyed black denim is establishing its vintage status.

Prices have risen considerably recently, and they are becoming scarce in the market. I hesitated to sell this 1986 653 factory 501 pre-dyed black, but I am listing it. I hope you like it and will consider purchasing it.
