This raglan sleeve sweater is hand-painted on a finished, molded knit.
The entire surface uses bouclé yarn, characterized by its uneven texture and a boa-like feel.
After creating the plain sweater, artisans in Amagasaki hand-paint the main graphic one by one.
Especially for knitwear, it takes time for the pigment to set and dry, so the process involves applying one color, drying, and repeating, which is very time-consuming and labor-intensive.
To make the most of the bouclé knit, the design is luxuriously expressed with hand-painting instead of double jacquard.
Please enjoy the delicate touch that can only be achieved by Japan's leading hand-painting artisans.
The main graphic is the Enoura Observatory, the setting for the theme.
It is a brand-original collage graphic inspired by the scenery and architectural styles such as stone pavements.
