"Gwanggaeto the Great King DVD-BOX (46-disc set)"

A historical epic depicting the reign of King Gwanggaeto the Great, the 19th king of Goguryeo, who built the golden age of Goguryeo, founded by the ancestor Jumong!

"Gwanggaeto the Great King" (373-412) chronicles the life of "King Gwanggaeto the Great," the 19th king of Goguryeo, who ascended the throne at the age of 18. He expanded the territory to the continent for the first time in Korean history, battling against Later Yan in the northwest, as well as the Khitan, the Malgal, and Baekje in the south.

Born as the second prince of Goguryeo, Damdeok (later King Gwanggaeto the Great) chooses the life of a general over that of a prince to escape the power struggles. The Emperor Murong Chui and Crown Prince Murong Bao of Later Yan continue their invasions of Goguryeo. Guk Sang (Prime Minister) Gyeon Su of Goguryeo relies on information from his son Go Eun, who is secretly working as a spy in Later Yan, to devise strategies, but faces strong opposition from other ministers... At the battlefield of Liaodong Fortress, a fierce battle unfolds between the Goguryeo army, including General Geom and Damdeok, and the Later Yan army. He passed away at the age of 39.
