This open collar shirt features a re-creation of a check pattern fabric used in vintage Pendleton shirts from the 1970s, made in the Bishu region of Japan.
The fabric is woven from scratch in Bishu, and the shirt is carefully sewn by skilled domestic craftsmen.
The silhouette follows the classic boxy shape typical of Pendleton, while incorporating a modern balance with a slightly more relaxed fit, about one size larger.
