The Montblanc "Meisterstück 146 (Le Grand)" is a representative piston-filling fountain pen.
Functionality has been confirmed. There were no ink leaks. (Ink was used for testing, but will be completely removed before shipping.)
This is a vintage model, and the 1980s models are popular for their even softer nibs.
With its 14k gold nib, excellent ink flow, and a size suitable for both men and women (approximately 146mm in length), this best-selling model is renowned for its practicality and balance.
The pen uses Montblanc's traditional piston-filling system, which allows for a large ink capacity and easy ink level monitoring through the ink window.
This pen features a monotone nib with a 14C gold marking.
The nib width is EF (Extra Fine), which prevents fine characters from blurring and is easy to use for writing in notebooks, journals, and for Japanese writing. (See photos 13 and 14)
