It's written and illustrated by Jacques Pépin, and his drawings are wonderful. The best part, of course, is that he makes cooking French food doable and easy--taking away the anxiety.
He includes serving sizes and nutritional info as well.
I may have to keep this book after all! I'm trying to downsize, need to let someone else learn to love French cooking!
Jacque and Julia Child were close friends, and their recipe books are the quintessential cooking guides!
Condition: Dust cover shows some love and wear. The hardcover shell is in very good condition. The top edges of the pages are stained, but the inside of the book is in great condition, looking like it wasn't really used. No unpleasant odors, mold, or rot.
