This is a vintage L.E. Smith white frosted satin art glass bird in flight figurine. It depicts a bird, possibly a swallow, thrush or perhaps dove in flight or landing on a textured base.
It is made of a frosted glass with a satin matte finish and is made from a pressed mold. It measures approximately 9” tall.
While some of these figurines were produced in the 1940s. The production lasted through the 1980s. I am not certain exactly what decade this particular one was produced. L.E. Smith Glass Company was founded in 1907 in Jeannette, Pennsylvania and unfortunately closed in 2004.
This figurine is an excellent condition. There are no chips, scratches or scuffs. It is beautiful.
