This minimalist gold tone bird brooch by Coro was released in 1948. The Coro Pegasus mark found on the back of this Art Deco bird was only used in 1948. It has red rhinestone eyes with green and gold rhinestones on the tail. This piece can be found in Ann Mitchell Pitman’s book “Inside The Jewelry Box” and is valued at $95-$120.
Measures 2 1/2” long and 1 1/4” wing to wing.
Good vintage condition with light scratches and marks.
