This listing is for a lovely delicate linen (likely) or blend hankie designed by Faith Austin. Love how fine and crisp the material is. And, of course, the design of a "herbarium" of ferns and other botanicals is absolutely gorgeous. The color palette of pink, brown, black and tan is inviting and sophisticated. This is such a lovely example of Austin’s work.
The hankie has tightly hand rolled edges and measures about 15" sq”. It is in good vintage condition; no structural issues, but there is discoloration on the fold line (likely a result of less than perfect storage conditions). Please note I have not attempted to treat this piece in any way, thus, with professional cleaning very likely its condition could be improved.
