Celebrating the Impressionist Table by Pamela Todd with recipes by Louise Pickford was published by Stewart, Tabori, and Chang, New York, 1997 (First U.S. Edition, 192 pages). The book is unique in that it is a combined art history book and cookbook featuring a culinary telling of the great Impressionist painters and how they celebrated life with delicious French recipes typical of what they may have dined upon in the restaurants and cafes they frequented. The book is beautifully illustrated with the Impressionist paintings - some well-known and some not. The book contains approximately 100 recipes. This is a hardcover book with dustcover in VERY GOOD PLUS vintage condition. I sell quality, unique, and harder to find vintage cookbooks so check back often. Thanks! This book was given as a Christmas gift in 1998 and is signed as such on the inside cover.
