Order 2.5 sizes down from street shoe size. The Prelude is made for dancers with a moderate to wide forefoot and toes that taper. It features a long vamp with a firm 3/4 shank to enhance stability and provide support while preventing the foot from rolling over. Dancers with average or high arches will prefer the design of this shank. The platform is formed to maintain the tapered shape in the interior of the shoe while creating a wider, very flat shape on the exterior of the toe box. The shape of this toe box is flattering whether standing flat, in demi pointe or on full pointe.
