Authentic Imperial Russian silver wire coin (kopek), hand-struck from a flattened silver wire blank, typical of Russian coinage from the late 1600s to early 1700s.
The obverse shows a stylized mounted horseman, a common design element of Russian wire money. The reverse displays a partially legible Cyrillic inscription naming the ruler and title, consistent with the period. As struck, the coin has an irregular shape and uneven strike—normal characteristics for these early hammered issues.
Coin is circulated and well worn, with rough surfaces and partial legends, but still clearly identifiable as a genuine historic silver wire kopek. A great example for collectors of medieval/early modern Russian coinage or world silver.
