8”x11” art. This is an ART PRINT. Original is watercolor and colored pencil, with the intention of capturing the essence of motherhood and the resilience it embodies. In the artwork, an oryx and her baby traverse a desert landscape, but wherever they step, flowers bloom—a symbol of the enduring love between mother and child. In the distance, a storm looms, yet in the desert, this brings life-giving rain. Illuminated by the gentle glow of the moon, they approach a dead tree blocking their path, but we sense that once they overcome this obstacle, it too will flourish anew, as everything behind them has. i made this piece with watercolor, colored pencils and white gelly roll pens.
