Handsome mid century hand painted ceramic pecking dove was one of several poses made by Sleepy Hollow Pottery Studio. Started by Orville Kirby, it was active in Laguna Beach, California from 1947 through 1954, when he moved the company to Monroe, Utah. Stamped bottom. Approx. 10.5” L, 5” H. PLEASE NOTE: a chip off the tip of the beak (see detail) otherwise good.
