This is the first electric recording of the Nutcracker suite by Leopold Stokowski and the Philadelphia orchestra. First pressings, such as these, were released as singles: later they were bundled into an album numbered M9, which these two (of the three released singles here in) do not have. Stokowski would rerecord this in 1935, which is very common. This one is as scarce as hen's teeth and has only been reissued on a couple of small boutique CD labels. Records play great graded at VG+
