Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Mikasa Whole Wheat (E8000) butter dish. This iconic piece of Japanese stoneware features the classic beige-colored base with an earthy speckled finish and hand-banded brown scalloped edges. Product Line & Style: Part of Mikasa's most famous 1970s/80s line, this dish fits perfectly with Japandi, MCM, or Boho-Farmhouse decor. Measurements: Underplate: 7 3/4" x 4 5/8" x 3/4". Lid: 6 1/4" x 3 1/8" x 2 7/8". Combined Height: 3 1/4. Very Good Vintage Condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. This piece exhibits minor manufacturing characteristics typical of authentic Mikasa stoneware, including a small glaze bleed on the plate and a tiny circular mineral spots on the lid. Both are original to the production and under the glaze, not from post-factory wear. Please see last two photos for a close up of both areas. Nothing major, but wanted to mention it. Clean and smoke free.
