These items were purchased on the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine in Dazaifu, Fukuoka Prefecture. The shrine is dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, known as the god of scholarship, culture, art, and warding off evil.
Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is a popular power spot in Fukuoka, where students visit to pray for academic success and passing exams, and where visitors can experience history and culture!
