Tested with 4 C batteries and the unit powers on. The FM radio works. I tested it with a Beauty and the Beast tape and the cassette plays but the audio is distorted, so it may need adjustment or repair. I do not know how to fully test the microphone. The microphone stand will fall off the boombox if it is pulled roughly. Selling as is. This model is battery operated and power cord. Neither is included.
