This is such a cool piece of vintage folk art! It is a large cured gourd that has been cut and cleaned and hand painted and hand glazed. It could be used for so many things but I immediately thought dog treats when I found it. It is extremely clean inside and fully sealed on the exterior. Even the irregularities or “blemishes” that give it extra character are underneath of a heavy clear coating, giving it a durable, water resistant exterior and a solid seal.
