Great pictorial dustjacket (now in mylar cover) of a standing bear and two sheep dogs. Some wear and small chips to dustjacket but has carefully protected the beautiful green boards with a black bear embossed on cover. The cover illustration is carried over the front and rear endpapers where the bear and dogs are watching sheep. There is minimal wear to the boards and bumping to corners. The spine and hinges are firmly attached, straight with no slanting and no cracking. The lettering on the spine is bold and bright as well as the bear on cover. The paper is of a medium quality and there is tanning to the endpapers but not throughout the text. The interior pages but are in excellent condition with no previous owner marks, chips, cracks or damage. 269 pages. Dimensions: H – 8” W – 5-1/2”
