Extraordinary Vintage Noritake Rose China in the Winthrop Pattern. Set consists of - X6 Salad/ Dessert- X7 Berry Bowls- X8 Bread & Butter Plates. The pattern is a white background in the center of the plate which has a beautiful continuous small dainty floral design in soft vibrant shades of pink with leaves and foliage in many shades of tans, browns, and gray. There is a gold band around this innter pattern. Next there is a very pale gray border and finally finished off with another gold band along the outside edge creating a nice finished and very elegant look. After WWII, Noritake was not able to get proper quality controls that they had prior to the war. Duriing that time, they used the trademark 'Rose China ' from 1946-1952.
