A luxurious purple kimono fabric.
It features a shoin-zukuri pattern with a single kikyo (bellflower) crest.

This item was purchased by my mother over 30 years ago when she was doing Japanese tailoring and has been stored at home ever since.
I was told that after cutting it for myself, it was not tailored, and over time the color became too flashy, so it was re-dyed.
She said that the kikyo crest is a woman's crest, so it can be worn even if it's not a family crest.
