The quilt has some textured piece of fabric, some of them have a satin feel but most are cotton. Some of the pieces are frayed and ripped at the seams, as seen in photos! The back side of the quilt is flannel. This quilt will need to be spot treated and washed. I have not washed it bc I was afraid of damaging it. It has been in storage for many years and smells like moth balls. It is on a king bed for sizing reference. Smoke free!
