U.S. Military Surplus
A tri-fold medic pouch, known as the "Tri-Fold," supplied in a similar shape from the 1950s to the 2000s.
Made of nylon since the 1970s, it's a long-running model and relatively easy to obtain.
Please take a look at my other listings as well.
This is an early model M3 bag, issued to corpsmen (medics) in the 1950s.
The late 60s version has a rubber coating on the outside.
Made of sturdy fabric with a rubber coating on the inside, it features three zippered compartments and one pocket.
The outer pouch section flips up, and the main flap closes over it.
The US Medical Caduceus mark is on the top flap.
The shoulder strap also has the original D-ring ends.
The main body also has a special spring hook.
PRENTICE brass black zipper.
The zipper tab cords are all intact.
Made by NEW YORK DROP CLOTH MFG.
It's extremely rare to find, and almost always with this stamp only.
Bag only, no contents.
While not quite deadstock, it has minor soiling and some rust on the hardware, but no missing parts, tears, or markings.
This item rarely appears even in less-than-perfect condition.
Considering its age and the number still in existence, I think it's in miraculous mint condition.
External dimensions: Approximately 21x23x10 (cm)
